Application:
316: Due to the addition of Mo element, the corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength of 316 stainless steel flat bar have been greatly improved. In seawater and various other media, 316 has better corrosion resistance than 304.
The high temperature resistance of 316 stainless steel flat bar can reach 1200-1300 degrees, it can be used under harsh conditions, and it is mainly used for pitting corrosion resistant materials. 316 stainless steel flat bar has excellent work hardening, excellent high temperature strength, non-magnetic in solid solution state. Compared with 304, the price of 316 is higher.
316L: 316L: 316 ultra-low carbon steel. 316L has good corrosion resistance to various inorganic acids, alkalis and salts (such as sulfurous acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, fluorine salts, sulfites, etc.). 316L stainless steel flat bar is suitable for multi-layer welding due to its low carbon content and good weldability. After welding, heat treatment is generally not required, and there is no tendency of knife-edge corrosion after welding. 316L stainless steel flat bar can be used to manufacture industrial equipment such as towers, tanks, containers, pipes, etc. for synthetic fibers, petrochemicals, textiles, fertilizers, printing and dyeing, and atomic energy.
