Application:

430 stainless steel bars have the characteristics of corrosion resistance, mechanical properties and high thermal conductivity, and are stainless in the atmosphere, water vapor and other media.However, when the medium contains high chloride ions, the stainless property of stainless steel 430 bars is insufficient.

430 stainless steel round bars are mainly used in chemical equipment for the production of nitric acid and ammonium nitrate, such as absorption towers, heat exchangers, storage tanks, etc.;430 stainless steel square bars are mainly used for building interior decoration, daily office equipment, kitchen utensils, automobile decoration, gas burners, etc.

Since the brittle transition temperature of 430 stainless steel is above room temperature and is sensitive to notches, it is not suitable for making load-bearing equipment and components below room temperature, and the cross-sectional size of commonly used 430 bars is generally not allowed to exceed 4mm.
